Bilingual Services

The family is just as important as the pupil, which is why we provide a holistic approach to bilingual services and evaluations for all our partners. A Social History will provide a school team with a thorough narrative of the student’s educational background.

Comprehensive assessment of cognitive functioning based on the student’s language proficiency in English and the native language. Nonverbal assessments are also available upon request.

Using the most appropriate tools, a student’s academic performance is assessed in both English and the native language. Multiple tools are available based on the data needed. The assessment of Dyslexia is available upon request.

A range of behavioral support is available from counseling, behavioral intervention plans, and functional behavior assessments.

Professional support is available for the translation of educational paperwork, IEPs, and evaluation reports. Interpretation support is also available for school meetings, such as Pupil Personnel Team meetings with parents.
